Yes, SUBWAY sandwiches is test marketing their GF sandwiches (and GF brownies) in Portland. They already test-marketed in Texas. If Subway gets a good turn-out, they will consider offering GF bread at Subway locations. Please come out and support a national restaurant trying to offer a gluten-free option to our community. Give them feedback that the GF community wants this.
Offer is limited to the first 150 guests. There are coupons for a free sandwich at the front desk of Everyday Wellness in downtown Portland: 1033 SW Yamhill #300, Portland, OR 97205. (across from the Central Library, a few blocks up from Pioneer Square). Street parking, SmartPark on 10th & Yamhill, or it's on the MAX line (library/Galleria stops) or the Street Car (library/SW Taylor stops).
Feel free to come by and pick some up for friends and family. The more people who show up, the better. They have been given 50 coupons, and have access to more. Tell corporate America that GF options are needed!!
Education and precautions have been taught re: cross-contamination, we have been assured by Corporate.
Also Lisa S., a contributor to this blog and the branch manager for GIG of Portland will bring any remaining coupons with her to this Tuesday's event.
