Hidden Gem in Portland

Check out this hidden Gem in Southwest Portland.  CCP or Corbet Coffee Plant, placed on Corbett Ave just next to the Corbett Fish House.  CCP bakes yummy pastries, cakes and sandwich bread in a 100% gluten-free bakery.  They also have quite the selection of lunch options from soups to wraps to quiche.  Try a new place and have a cup of coffee and yummy GF treat!

Check out their website at http://www.ccpgf.com/

They also have a recipe sharing and conversion notebook in the back of the bakery.  You can ask the pro's to help you convert grandma's favorite cookies to gluten-free.

I practically lived there the last two years while I was in school. It's important to note that you must order bread in advance, but that all the other pastries are available in the case at the counter. The quich is fantastic. Their bakers are truly talented and their baked goods have none of the grainy texture or astonishing density that so many gf baked goods do. one of their bakers even made pate a choux, and eclairs, a few weeks back that were divine. She also made a bouche de noel that was gorgeous AND tasted fantastic. There aren't words big enough to say how good their food bakers are. The coffee is fantastic too. And don't forget, the Corbett Fish house next door is also gluten free!
